"For many years, I have explored the concept of LIFE through various techniques and materials. Here in Örebro, I am presenting the word LIFE (LIV) on an electronic LED display. The word scrolls for one minute at 13 random intervals per hour, around the clock representing the average number of children born per hour in Sweden in 2009, according to Statistics Sweden. With this, I want to remind us that LIFE is constantly being created and that this amazing miracle is happening here and now; it is a celebration of life. I hope to encourage people to pause and slow down providing a sense of perspective on the everyday aspects of life."

"Jag har under många år undersökt begreppet LIV i skilda tekniker och material. Här i Örebro visar jag ordet LIV på en elektronisk skylt, LED display. Ordet ska rulla under 1 minut vid 13 slumpartade tillfällen per timme dygnet runt vilket representerar samma antal födda barn i genomsnitt per timme i Sverige 2009 enligt Statistiska Centralbyrån. Jag vill med detta påminna om att LIV ständigt skapas och att detta fantastiska mirakel pågår här och nu; det blir en hyllning till livet. Jag hoppas få människor att stanna upp och varva ner att det kan ge perspektiv åt livets vardagligheter."
